Dear Phil, Funk Opus

You were one of the biggest surprises of the entire festival for me—and what a wonderful surprise you were!

I’ll be honest: I didn’t know your band before this year, and now I’m hearing people tell me, “You have to bring Funk Opus back!”

That is one of the best compliments a band can get at the Lathrup Village Music Festival. You guys were fantastic.

You were professional, easy to work with, and you put on one hell of a show. You brought an energy to the festival that people absolutely responded to, and I loved watching the crowd get into it.

Thank you for being such a great addition to our lineup and for making my job easy once you hit that stage. I loved every minute of your performance, and I’m so glad we found each other.

Please know that Funk Opus left Lathrup Village with a whole lot of new fans.
